The 9:30 Club
JUST ANNOUNCED 1.25.13
M3 Rock Festival bring on the hair, the shredding guitar solos, the blazing drum solos. Decadence. Glam. Metal. Two days of time travel on the Merriweather grounds! Are you ready? Single day tickets are on sale this week!
Preakness Infieldfest is Baltimores most massive party. A day at the races can usually be a snooze, but InfieldFest kicks formalities in the ass by bringing killer performers, the famous MUG Club deals (currently on 24 hour discount - GO GO GO!), outdoor volleyball, and general good times. Don’t miss out on the fun with club banger Pitbull bringing the head AND everyones favorite thrifty hip-hopper, Macklemore!
The National the unmistakable baritone of Matt Berninger has captured the hearts of many (including our President) and their beautiful melancholy tunes will make their triumphant return to Merriweather this summer with support from Dirty Projectors (remember how awesome those two sold out 9:30 shows were?).
Of Monsters And Men this Icelandic folk troupe have managed to not only take the indie music world by storm, but also conquer the mainstream radio airwaves! A rare feat! Throw in the sparkly California rock charm of HAIM, and you have a beautiful evening ahead of you in Columbia, MD.
The Airborne Toxic Event because the drama, the beauty, the sing-alongs, the balcony climbing - you really expected one night to be enough? Good for you we planned, and added a SECOND night of TATE. Do yourself a favor and get on these tickets early this time, alright?
Chris Hardwick the hilarious nerd we all have loved for a longer time than we possibly want to own up to. His last show here with Nerdist sold out very fast, and we’re certain this will do the same. So grab yours early so you will be on the side of people laughing at the show, and not those crying outside because they didn’t get theirs fast enough!
Collie Buddz born in New Orleans, raised in Bermuda, burst onto the scene with his hit ‘Come Around,’ but he didn’t stop there. Collaborating with artists like Kid Cudi and consistently putting out reggae jams that will get any crowd grooving, the good people of All Good Presents are bringing him back to our stage to show you a good time.

A six piece Icelandic group, Of Monsters and Men is perfect for this unseasonably warm March, and their buoyant debut single, “Little Talks,” has begun to explode throughout the U.S.

Imagine the captivating energy of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes paired with  folk rock sensibilities. Of Monsters and Men are not the easiest to categorize in terms of genre, but fortunately it’s because their variety’s far-reach both vocally and instrumentally. That freshness of sound is what makes them such an exciting addition to the current music scene.  Just from “Little Talks” alone, we get a sampling of horns and chants strung together with crafty lyrics. Listening to this song is an experience in itself, but wait, there’s also a really bizarre music video!

Until the release of their full-length album My Head is an Animal on April 3rd check out their EP Into the Woods for a great taste of what’s to come.
