VOTD: Florence + The Machine - ‘Hitchin’ A Ride’ (Green Day cover) because Florence Welch is pretty much other-worldly in her elegance and passion on stage, and Green Day might have been last on our list of bands we thought she would cover (until now). Sounds weird, but comes off spectacularly. Maintaining the grit and throwing some glittery glamour on it with the consistently knee-weakening vocals of Ms. Welch, who always keeps us guessing.
